Important Information

  • All FedEx, DHL, and Royal Mail special delivery will require an authorised signature and the signatory must be at the delivery address.
  • Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. We aim to ship orders placed before 1pm (GMT/BST Monday to Friday) on the same day, however we cannot guarantee this.

Shipping to the EU

  • From January 1st , 2021 the United Kingdom is no longer a member state within the European Union.
  • As we have a standard Euro price for our products, any VAT variation between EU member states is allowed for in our EU price quoted on our site. Farer takes the responsibility for paying the VAT collected on purchases to the correct local EU authority.
  • The Trade deal that was agreed between the UK and EU member states is a free trade deal, so no other duties are payable when shipping any of our products to an EU member state shipping address.

Shipping to the United States

  • All orders are shipped from the UK, so import duties or taxes may apply. Please contact your local customs office for further information. If you don't pay the applicable duties and taxes and the item is returned to us, we will deduct any duties, taxes or fees incurred by us from your refund.
  • You may be required to share the details of your Social Security Number or Tax ID, where this is required the courier (Fed Ex or DHL) will contact you directly. We have no influence on this request if it's asked.
  • For our US-based customers, transactions under $800 fall under the De Minimis threshold and are exempt from import duty and tax. Transactions ranging from $800 to $2500 are classed as personal imports and are subject to a nominal duty. To date, Farer has absorbed this particular charge from our retail price, except for any enforced state sales tax. We will continue to do so for the time being.
  • Other charges may apply depending on your state’s laws, and any orders over $2500 may incur additional charges, both of which the customer will be required to pay.

United States Tariffs

  • The US Government has recently introduced new tariffs on imports. We have spoken to FedEx, our US shipping partners, who have advised us that the current regulations listed above will remain in place until May 2nd 2025. Therefore, until this date, our valued US customers can continue to make purchases from us without incurring any additional charges. 
  • We will continue to provide updates on changes to this policy as they become available and thank you for your continued custom. 

Shipping to the Rest of the World

  • All orders are shipped from the UK, so import duties or taxes may apply. Please contact your local customs office for further information. If you don't pay the applicable duties and taxes and the item is returned to us, we will deduct any duties, taxes or fees incurred by us from your refund.
  • Orders shipped to Canada or Mexico will be subject to local VAT, which is on top of the US dollar price.
  • You may be required to share the details of your Social Security Number or Tax ID, where this is required the courier (Fed Ex or DHL) will contact you directly. We have no influence on this request if it's asked.

Courier Details

  • Our courier partners ( FedEx and DHL ) may not be able to call you on arrival so please ensure that you provide a delivery address where the shipment can be received and signed for during business hours. If you are unavailable to sign for your parcel, you can nominate an alternative signature however you will need to notify the courier service of this. The courier will try to deliver your order three times and will leave a calling card at each attempt.
  • We're unable to deliver on public holidays or Sundays so please allow an extra working day.
